People at ALPLA - Interview with Müserref Inetas

Müserref Inetas is a family person – she enjoys working with other people and is always happy to help others. She therefore loves the family atmosphere at ALPLA. After 30 years of service at the company, ALPLA has even become part of her family.

Name: Müserref Inetas

Location: Fußach (AT)

Position: Foreperson

What does ALPLA mean to you?

When I started at ALPLA 30 years ago, I was very grateful. As a mother of three children without any training or career experience, it’s not easy to find a job. ALPLA is a great company. People are held in high regard at ALPLA and everybody is helpful. We’re like a big family.

How would you describe your job to a child?

My team packs up plastic packaging so it can be transported to customers. As foreperson, I allocate tasks to my team at the start of my shift, depending on the urgency of the tasks. I then prepare the packing slips that are needed during my shift in order to assign products to a customer or order. Once that’s done, I help out wherever I’m needed. Like taking over from my colleagues so they can go on a break.

What advice would you give to new employees?

I advise new employees to be punctual, reliable and flexible. And they should take advantage of the further training opportunities that ALPLA offers. Such as German language courses or forklift licences. This enables them to grow on a personal level and get the best and most exciting tasks available in the company.

Where is your favourite place on earth?

As I was born in Turkey, I like to go back there every year on my holidays. But I like living here in Vorarlberg. This is where my family is – from my parents to my grandchildren.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I hope I’m never faced with that choice. But if I had to decide, I’d go for schnitzel with rice. I really like that.

What do you need in order to live?

The most important thing is good health.

What are you looking forward to in your life?

I will retire in four years. This phase of my life will be very special, as I will have a lot of time for my family, and especially for my grandchildren. And I’m looking forward to my next holiday with my family.
